Whether it be bathroom, kitchen or outdoor tile floors; porcelain, ceramic, or natural stone; all surfaces, like countertops and shower stalls, need tender loving care on a regular basis.

These surfaces have different responses and every situation has a slightly different approach in cleaning. For instance, you can’t use a high pH or acid cleaning agent on natural stone or marble, because it will burn the finish. On ceramic and porcelain surfaces, you will want to use a neutral cleaning agent or enzymes.

I always ask these questions, in dealing with all projects. I will want to know the age of the surface, how severe the situation is to be cleaned, when was it last cleaned, and how was it sealed? (very crucial). Have you applied anything yourself – your results? Many times people ask me to fix something that is already burned or has undesirable outcomes.

Now, I don’t say this to dissuade you from reaching out to me to share about your project. We both want to be on the same page, so your desired outcome is achievable. No mutual mystification! If I can help you, I will. If I can’t, I want you to know up front!

With tile and grout – at the very end of all projects, I do recommend having a sealer applied to projects, if applicable.

I’ve had great success with residential and commercial projects. I encourage you to give me a call at (503) 475-9981 today!
